A Different Man (15)

  • Gloucester Guildhall 23 Eastgate Street Gloucester United Kingdom (map)

Dir: Aaron Schimberg | USA | 2024 | 112 mins

Cast | Sebastian Stan, Renate Reinsve, Adam Pearson, C. Mason Wells, Michael Shannon

Sebastian Stan (I, Tonya), Adam Pearson (Under the Skin) and Renate Reinsve (The Worst Person in the World) star in Aaron Schimberg’s mind-bending satirical thriller.

In New York, aspiring actor Edward (Adam Pearson) undergoes a radical medical procedure to drastically transform his appearance. But his new dream face quickly becomes a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost.

Bold, strange and provocative, Schimberg’s (who previously directed Chained for Life, which also starred Pearson) latest is a mischievously meta doppelganger tale.
