Dir: Chris Sanders | USA | 2024 | 102 mins

Voice cast | Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal, Kit Connor, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Stephanie Hsu, Mark Hamill, Ving Rhames

Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (Us, Black Panther) voices DreamWorks’ new animation epic adapted from Peter Brown’s beloved award-winning bestseller.

After being shipwrecked on a deserted island, a robot named ROZZUM unit 7134 – ‘Roz’ for short – must learn to adapt to its new surroundings. Gradually building relationships with the island’s animals, Roz develops a particularly meaningful bond with an orphaned gosling.

A thrilling, moving and beautifully animated story, reminiscent of WALL-E and boasting a standout voice cast including Pedro Pascal, Catharine O’Hara, Bill Nighy and Stephanie Hsu, The Wild Robot explores selfhood, the bridge between technology and nature and what it means to be alive.
