How a match ignited a new community in Gloucester.

Unreflected Reflections was initially founded to capture stories and share the history of the Muslim community in Gloucester through creative means.

The platform is there to facilitate engagement with art organisations and supporting new audience within the arts sector and secondly to facilitate creative work within communities which are of interest to them.

We are excited to bring to the Guildhall both documentaries to share with the community:

Gloucester’s Glory – Our initial film in capturing stories and experiences of the local community

Pioneering Glimpses – is very much focussed on the early community the came to Gloucester around the 50 and 60’s. This film and the stories bring to life the early experiences and highlight the activity carried by members of the Muslim community.
