ABOUT GLOUCESTER GUILDHALL

Gloucester Guildhall has been setting the rhythm of the city’s cultural heartbeat since 1987. Our building has been a place for gathering since 1892. First for Gloucester’s guilds of craftspeople and now as a gathering place for film, performance, and music lovers.

Dancing and celebrations are still very much at the core of our venue. Building on our history as a Ballroom for tea dances and parties in the 20’s and 30’s, we’re proud to have the only sprung dance floor in the county. Set the stage for your perfect event with friends, colleagues and family in our baroque inspired Victorian Ballroom (our main hall).

For a real show stopping event, your booked bands and performers can take to the stage where the likes of Lily Allen, Radiohead, Mogwai and Akala and many more have performed over the last 30 years. With professional lighting and sound from our in house technicians.

Myself and my husband hosted our wedding reception at the Guildhall and it was the best decision we made! The venue is really cool & we all had an amazing time with some welcome drinks & a buffet...
