Gloucester Independent Film Festival presents The Monster Beneath Us directed by Sophie Osbourne.
Nominated for best feature film at this year's event, the screening will also be in the company of Goliath (short film) by Marshal Sayedur Rahman, Ingest (micro short film) by Callum Wilkins and In the Hills (music video) by Rupi.
The Monster Beneath Us directed by Sophie Osbourne (Nominated for Best Feature Film) “Yorkshire, 1898. A grieving woman and her son move back to the unoccupied house of her ex husband, recently found dead, but they discover that they are not alone inside the house.
Goliath directed by Marshal Sayedur Rahman (Nominated for Best Short Film) “David reflects on his troubled relationship with his wife, Joanie, before falling asleep. He wakes up, apologizes to Ollie, and discovers he’s gone. David finds a leaflet in Ollie’s room that leads him to a church where Father Simon is present. Despite David's interrogation, Father Simon denies knowing Ollie’s whereabouts.”
Ingest directed by Callum Wilkins (Nominated for Best Micro Short Film) “Whilst clearing through his dead Dad's apartment, David discovers an unmarked videotape. Which, upon playing, draws him to a sinister self-reflection.”
In the Hills directed by Rupi (Nominated for Best Music Video) “Rapper ‘Joesyy’ goes on a drugged out trip to find himself chasing after a girl, who turns out to be a hallucination.”
