Buckle up—it’s going to be a wild ride!
What can the audience expect from your performance at the Underground Festival?
I think people can expect a real wall of sound but something really intimate at the same time.
Do you have a favourite memory from a past performance or festival?
Playing at the Subrooms in Stroud with my friends Pebble Daisy and Chasing Dolls in front of such a wonderful crowd was such a cathartic experience!
Are there any upcoming projects or releases you’re excited about?
I’m currently finishing off my two debut singles, “Framed On The Silver Screen" and “From Argentina, To My Achilles!” followed by an EP, all to be released this year!
What are you most looking forward to at Underground Festival 2025?
To play on the main stage at Underground and at a venue like Gloucester Guildhall is already an opportunity I’m looking so forward to!
How do you prepare for a big performance?
Lots and lots of water, lavender essential oils and vocal warmups
What’s the last song you listened to?
Either The Drift by Deary, Blinding Faith by Knocked Loose or Empty by HONESTY, I cannot remember the order on my drive home today but it was one of those three!
Do you have a favourite album or artist that you’re currently obsessed with?
Currently really loving Heavy Metal by Cameron Winter and The Sunset Violent by Mount Kimble but almost always resort to Heart Under by Just Mustard or Souvlaki by Slowdive.
If you could collaborate with any artist, who would it be an why?
I’d love to work on something with “Mandy, Indiana”, as their soundscapes and live performances are so unique, industrial and rich. They embody and hold a light to a lot of the things that I love about the UK’s noise and experimental scene at the moment.
What’s a fun fact about you that your fans might not know?
I’m originally from South Africa!
What’s your favourite song to perform live?
Framed On The Silver Screen
